About the Position

As a receptionist, you will be available for our visiting guests at Laxens Hus in Mörrum. You will answer questions, sell fishing permits and accommodations, and handle bookings and cancellations via phone and email. In addition to reception work, you will also check (and if necessary, address) the cleanliness of the accommodations and sell products from our reception/souvenir shop.

Most of the time, you will work alone at the reception, but other regular staff are never far away if you need backup. Our experienced receptionist will be your mentor during the second half of February before we open for the season on March 7.

The position involves weekend work 2 out of 3 weeks.

We are looking for someone who can work approximately 60% between February 19 and September 30. Currently, two people work in our reception, and you will be part of a team of a total of seven people.

At present, the position is a seasonal employment.

About You

• To thrive in the workplace, you are an outgoing person who enjoys meeting visitors from different places and making people feel comfortable through good service.
• You can handle a varying workload and see what needs to be prioritized.
• You are comfortable communicating with guests in English.
• Experience in reception and booking systems is an advantage.
• You have experience in tourism or another similar service profession.
• Desirable (but not required) qualifications include:
• Experience working with booking systems.
• Knowledge of the German language.
• Experience/knowledge of salmon and sea trout fishing or other nature tourism.
